Krav maga is broken down into 5 separate levels and blackbelt.

One of the best things about krav maga is it builds on itself with each level! The techniques you learn in level 1 continue to be used and added onto into higher levels. 

Level 1

The foundational level in krav maga that focuses on aggression and developing an “on switch.” This is where you’ll learn basic choke and headlock defenses, as well as basic strikes.

level 2

Welcome to level 2! Shin guards and 16oz boxing gloves are required for this level. We’ll cover chokes with a pull, bear hugs, and ground game. This level also opens you up to our sparring and ground fighting classes!

level 3

Passing your level 2 belt test brings you to level 3! The focus of this level is more advanced ground and striking techniques, takedowns, and emphasizes dirty fighting.

Level 4

Here in level 4 you’ll learn weapon threat defenses, sweeps, advanced groundwork, and spinning strikes.

level 5

The step before reaching blackbelt, level 5 is the culmination of all the training so far. It includes throws, blunt and edged weapon attacks, long gun defenses and more.

level 6 black

For those unfamiliar with a Krav Maga belt test, this rite of passage spans multiple hours, pushing you to your physical limits while you're being asked to effectively execute the Krav techniques and defenses, both in isolation as well as part of live scenarios with a variety of different attackers.
